Women's Running Shoes

Question:
Does anyone know where I can find recent information on women's running shoes? I've worn Sauconys for years, but haven't been able to find a new style that's comfortable (the toe box seems to be narrower, and there's so much padding in the new styles that my foot doesn't fit well vertically). I'd appreciate any information about articles that are in magazines that I can still buy on the stands, or even better, any place on the web I might be able to find info. Thank you very much.

Answer:
I don't know much about recent articles and such in part because I tend to ignore the ones that start, women have narrower feet than men. (I have the world's widest foot and stores tend not to have a woman's shoes wide enough and a man's shoe small enough.) I have had good luck with New Balance, if you are looking for a wider toe box.

Nike has recently widened the forefoot in many of their newer models. The best way to find the right shoe is to go your local running store and try the shoes on. Hopefully you live in a community where the running store has knowledgable sales people.
