Question:
What is the best Trail running shoe
I should be using? I am a beginner
runner, but have run more in my
youth.
Answer:
Adidas is the leader in trail running
shoes. You can't go wrong with the
Trail Response. It is not only excellent
for trails, but it also has a nice
ride on the road. The upper is water
resistant as well. The also have
a good trail shoe called the Terrain
Light. It is also a very nice shoe
for one that wants a lighter weight
Trail shoe.
Adidas trail
shoes are leaps and bounds above
the rest. There is
absolutely no comparison with the
others. I find Adidas running shoes
in general better than any other
running shoe, but to each their
own. But Adidas is years ahead of
everyone else when it comes to trail
shoes, always have been.
I've been
running for well over 20 years and
coaching for over 15. My insight
comes from 70+ miles per week on
the roads and trails in all kinds/brands
of shoes (new shoes every couple
of months), designs, weather, etc.
and information from many people
I coach, run with, talk with and
articles read. I also know people
in the shoe industry along with
other trainers and coaches.
And I do
know shoes, I plan to own a running
store in the future and have investigated
running shoes and equipment for
many years. It's to bad if you disagree
with me but I stand by what I stated
earlier as I know what I am talking
about. And anyone who has investigated
it or has any knowledge of the trail
shoes is aware that Adidas has set
the standard for trail shoes for
many years. Again they (Adidas)
ARE years ahead of nike or any other
shoe company in this area.
